LaVine made waves in 2015 after winning the Slam Dunk contest, beating out future MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. He went on to repeat as NBA Slam Dunk champion in 2016. Beyond his NBA career, he was also a member of the Men's USA basketball team which won gold during the 2020 Olympics.
