In 2017, there is absolute, pure class on the nose, right from the outset. On the palate, lots of black fruit, volume, verve and a real voluptuous character. This has decades in front of it. A stupendous Léoville Barton, not to be missed at any cost - which, by the way, is below what it deserves, a boon for wine-loving drinkers. The quality of the vintage really sings. Titans of Bordeaux, featuring a host of Imperials, Jeroboams, double magnums and magnums. This collection spans the 1980s to 2010 and is in truly excellent condition, testament to the quality of the meticulously maintained underground climate-controlled storage. All bought from Sotheby's Wine Department in London, it includes such gems as Lafite 1998 in Imperial, a case of Haut Brion 2000 in bottle and a multi-format Superlot of Pichon Baron 2010.
