'Blue Legacy', an outstanding and extremely rare 'Santa Maria'-type aquamarine
Unmounted cushion-shaped aquamarine weighing 387.83 carats.
Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 22120001 and an appendix letter stating that the aquamarine could be from the Santa Maria deposit. The report furthermore says that the stone has a high degree of transparency and contains no eye-visible inclusions. This combination of characteristics is rarely encountered in gem-quality aquamarines exceeding 100 carats. Therefore it qualifies as an extraordinary and remarkable gemstone.
Gübelin describes this aquamarine as 'outstanding' with a gemstone rating of 92.4 / 100.
Accompanied by a design drawing showing how the Blue Legacy could be mounted as a pendant-necklace or a brooch.
