A neoclassical gilt-bronze mounted mahogany chiffonier, circa 1985

the upper section with the pediment-form crest over four open shelves with columnar supports, the lower section with one frieze drawer lined with later yellow baize above two trellis-grilled and silk lined panel doors enclosing one removable shelf

201 by 110 by 55cm., 79 by 43¼ by 21¾in.

Possibly acquired by Freddie from Rupert Cavendish, London, for the dining room at Garden Lodge. Cavendish supplied similar pieces to him.
