The iconic Day-Date was released back in 1956 and came to be known as the "President", being seen sported on the wrists of several U.S. presidents, such as president Eisenhower. Some exceptionally limited Day-Dates are produced with stunning dial variations, such as stone, enamel, mother-of-pearl, meteorite, gem-set, just about every exotic material that one can imagine. The present example has an extraordinary burl wood dial, reminiscent to the dashboard of a luxury car.
