the front with a pair of openwork panels, the sides each carved and pierced with a pair of dragons in pursuit of the flaming pearl, the back panel carved with stylised lotus blossoms in openwork, the front corners and mid-section surmounted with four seated lion finials and bundled stiff-leaf finials on the back corners, the two plain doors opening to reveal five small drawers, all above plain beaded aprons and supported on short legs
