Harry Winston and Van Cleef & Arpels | Cultured Pearl and Diamond Necklace and Bracelet

The necklace composed of two strands of 66 round cultured pearls measuring approximately 10.5 to 8.0mm, completed by a circular clasp set with old European-cut and baguette diamonds, length 13¾ inches, signed Monture VCA, numbered 2183 CS, with French assay and workshop marks; the bracelet composed of three strands of 54 round cultured pearls measuring approximately 7.7 to 7.1mm, interspersed with old European-cut diamonds, completed by a similarly set clasp, length 6¾ inches, unsigned, with French assay and workshop marks.
In a copy of a letter from Harry Winston dated August 27, 2018, it is stated that the clasps were acquired in 1953 from a collection of jewelry owned by the Maharaja of Baroda. The balance of the necklace and bracelet was created by Harry Winston.
