A German Silver-Gilt, Baroque Pearl, and Gem-Set Statuette of a Roman Warrior, 18th/19th Century


with baroque pearl torso, holding spear and shield, wearing plumed helmet and spreading patterned cloak, diamond-studded belt, striding forward on an asymmetrical rococo base chased with shellwork and two landscape vignettes, set with rows of faceted garnets, cabochon turquoises and assorted colored stones including amethysts and green foil-back crystals
