The reference 7853 Carrera is known as the 'transitional' Carrera as it combines a manually-wound movement with some 1970s case and dial design. The present watch has a beautifully aged and sought-after 'panda' dial and therefore is worth a serious look for any collector.
Sotheby's is honored to offer the collection of a former race car driver (in total 28 watches) with proceeds benefiting an initiative to support children of refugees in Germany.
