Depicting a textured gold bird, the head ornated with cabochons turquoise, the eyes set with marquise-shaped rubies, the branch highlighted with a single-cut diamond, measuring approximately 40 x 35mm, signed, numbered, French assay marks for 18 carat gold, maker's marks, gross weight 13.45 grams.
Jean-Charles Champagnat (1923 - 1988) established in Paris is mainly known to have crafted jewelry for Christian Dior and Madame Grès.
