Mr. Sohal greatly admires Wim Wenders. He met him at a book signing at The Photographers' Gallery, London.

It is rare for anyone to have an original poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs, and video/DVD sleeves.

This German film was directed by Wim Wenders and is the first part of his road movie trilogy, which includes The Wrong Move (1975) and Kings of the Road (1976). It tells the story of German journalist Philip Winter, who decides to return to Germany to write a piece on the USA, after suffering from writer's block. At the airport in New York, he meets a woman and her nine-year-old daughter Alice, who are also returning to Germany. The three spark up a friendship, and Winter soon realises after a short spell of minding Alice, that her mother isn't returning, and Alice is his responsibility. Winter and Alice return to Europe in search of her home, mother, and/or grandmother, a journey that takes them across Europe. The entire film is shot in black and white, with a number of long scenes without dialogue.
