This rare advanced poster does not surface very often.
This Japanese period drama was directed by Akira Kurosawa. The cast includes Tatsuya Nakadai, Tsutomu Yamazaki and Ken'ichi Hagiwara. The literal translation of Kagemusha is shadow warrior and is a term for a political decoy. The film tells the story of a small-time criminal who looks the spitting image of a samurai warlord who is hired to act as his double.
