Mr. Sohal met Hirokazu Koreeda at the BFI, London, who were doing a retrospective of his films. Hirokazu Koreeda then went onto win the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival for this film.

It is rare for anyone to have an original poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs, and video/dvd sleeves.

This Japanese film was written, directed, and edited by Hirokazu Koreeda, and stars Lily Franky and Sakura Ando. The film tells the story of a non-biological family living together. Although a few of them have part-time jobs, this isn't enough to survive, and so they shoplift to supplement their income. They regularly see a young girl in their neighbourhood locked out on her apartment balcony. On a cold rainy night, they see her outside in the street and bring her to their home for dinner. After finding evidence of neglect, they decide to take her in. This film won the Palme d'Or at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
