This sci-fi film was written and directed by James Cameron. The cast includes Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, and Michael Biehn. It tells the story of a civilian diving team who are drafted by a US Navy SEAL to help search for a lost US nuclear submarine. During their search in the abyss of the waters, they come across something quite unexpected. This film won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
