Ombré Constance 24cm in Varanus Salvator Lizard with Palladium Hardware, 2020

This Ombre Hermès 24 Constance bag is crafted in Varanus Salvator Lizard skin with polished palladium hardware.

The bag features a signature palladium H buckle on the front and a long strap that alternates between shoulder and cross body lengths.

The flap opens to a smooth beige leather lining with dual gussets and one slip pocket on each side.

Sourced from South East Asia, the characteristics of the Varanus Salvator Lizard are very distingt. Small ringlets mixed with hexagrams across the signature ombre-effect base in grey and light beige tones are clear indications of the extremely rare Varanus Lizard skin.

The Constance made its debut in 1959, taking its name from one of the original designer's daughters. The Constance is the closest Hermès gets to a real logo bag, with the iconic H hardware closure gleaming from the front of all versions. With a H-shaped fastener and a clever adjustable strap the bag can be worn over the shoulder or held by the side.
