Publisher's linen-grain dark green cloth, spine lettered in gilt and upper cover in blind; a few light stains to lower cover, lower corners bumped, front hinge a little tender, small abrasion on front pastedown. First state pictorial dust jacket by Francis Cugat, with lower case 'j" in Jay Gatsby corrected by hand in blue ink; an unrestored example with edgewear and fraying at ends of spine and corners, panels lightly scuffed. Housed in a green slipcase with folding cloth chemise.
