A group of six German porcelain and enamel snuff boxes and two snuff box covers, 18th and 19th century
Comprising:
a Berlin rectangular gold-mounted snuffbox, with later jewel-set gold mount, painted with scenes of lovers;
a German rectangular box with gilt-metal mounts, painted with Chinoiserie scenes;
a German painted enamel snuff box, with gilt-metal mounts, with puce camaieu scenes of figures in landscape;
a German small painted enamel snuff box , with gilt-metal mounts, with figures in landscapes;
a German rectangular box with gilt-metal mounts painted in iron-red with Watteauesque scenes, 18th / 19th century;
a Meissen circular snuff box cover, moulded on the exterior with a fluted shell pattern, painted on the interior with a quayside scene;
a Meissen rectangular snuff box cover, with gilt-metal mount, painted with sprays of deutsche Blumen, the interior painted with an interior scene of a couple and another figure looking on;
and a Continental shaped box with gilt-metal mounts painted with Watteauesque scenes, late 19th / early 20th century.
