Porträt des Prinzen Friedrich von Oranien-Nassau und der Niederlande (1797–1881);

zusammen mit einem anonymen Porträt der Prinzessin Luise von Preußen (1808–1870)

Princess Pauline Olga Helene Emma zu Wied, née Württemberg (1877–1965), daughter of King William II of Württemberg and Princess Marie of Waldeck and Pyrmont, and spouse of Prince William Frederick zu Wied;

Thence by descent to Duchess Marie von Württemberg.

Prince Frederick of the Netherlands was born in 1797 to William I of the Netherlands and Wilhelmina of Prussia. Frederick was raised at the Prussian Court of his maternal grandfather and uncle, respectively Frederick William II and Fredrick William III, both Kings of Prussia. At the age of 16, he was sent to the Netherlands to further his education, and in 1825 he married his first cousin, Princess Louise of Prussia, the youngest daughter of his uncle. Together, the couple had four children: Wilhelmina Frederika Alexandrine Anna Louise (1828–1871), Willem Frederik Nicolaas Karel (1833–1834), Willem Frederik Nicolaas Albert (1836–1836), and Wilhelmina Frederika Anna Elisabeth Maria (1841–1910). In 1871, the youngest daughter married William V, Prince of Wied (1845-1907).
