Few watch brands incorporate natural phenomena into their movements, and F. P. Journe is certainly among them. The Chronomètre à Résonance showcases the intriguing phenomenon of resonance, first identified by the Dutch mathematician Christiaan Huygens. This effect occurs when two pendulum clocks, hanging from the same beam, synchronize their ticks. Centuries later, this concept has been elegantly translated into wristwatches for enthusiasts.

The Chronomètre à Résonance was one of F. P. Journe's earliest creations. Beginning around 2004, the brand started producing movements in pink gold, as seen in this model. Made with a platinum case and a white gold dial, this watch brings a sense of serenity to the collector’s wrist.
