Description

the top carved with a recessed circular seal on each side, one reading wufu wudai tang (Hall of Five Happinesses and Five Generations), and the other side, guxi tianzi bao (Seal of the Seventy-Year-Old Son of Heaven), the bottom inscribed on one side with an imperial poem, followed by a dated inscription reading Qianlong dingyou mengchun yuti (imperially composed on the first month of the Spring of the dingyou year of Qianlong [1777]), accompanied by two seals, qian and long, the other side similarly inscribed, with an inscription dated to the first month of the Spring of the dingwei year (1787), followed by two seals, bide and langrun, two yellow slip labels, one reading Chengguangdian (Hall of Inherit Light) and the other partially reading shiba (eighteen), wood box and cover
