Produced exclusively from 2004 to 2006, the Patek Philippe Nautilus 3711 pays tribute to the original Nautilus reference 3700, retaining its large case diameter and commanding wrist presence. The inclusion of a seconds hand improved dial readability and added a contemporary touch. However, its production was short-lived, as it was soon replaced by the Nautilus reference 5711, which has since become a favorite among collectors.

With only around 700 pieces crafted, all in white gold, the rarity of the 3711 is unparalleled, especially given the Nautilus line's infrequent use of precious metals paired with a bracelet. In 2022, Patek Philippe introduced the reference 5811 in white gold as the successor to the iconic 5711, nodding to the legacy of the 3711. This model is poised to remain one of the most coveted timepieces in the market.
