An Italian silver coffee-pot, by Giovacchino Belli, Roma, circa 1830

on a square foot, the lower body decorated with large leaves, the rim chased with griffons and foliage garlands, with a greyhound-shaped handle, the spout with a bird head finial, the cover with an acorn-shaped finial, marks on the rim of cover and neck: town and maker's mark
