90% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Cabernet Franc. 50% new wood. Lovely aromatic nose. A real heart of cassis and berries on the palate. Lovely freshness and silkiness and a total ‘portrait’ of Pomerol black fruit. Precision and balance - one crunches the fruit. In 2014, really good opulence and a touch of peppermint. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
