鳳慶茶廠為今日「滇紅集團」的前身，成立于1939年，名稱為「順寧實驗茶廠」，是雲南有史以來第一個生產紅茶的廠家，1954年更名為「雲南省鳳慶縣茶廠」。此品鳳慶青餅為1997年出產，純乾倉儲存，茶葉面乾淨油亮光澤、條索分明，近聞有特殊的茶香味；每餅餅身壓制圓整緊實，以薄棉紙包覆，每七片以竹殼包成桶狀。
