A set of nine Russian porcelain, metal and plaster Easter eggs, various makers, cities and dates


three painted on white and blue grounds, each decorated with gilding and floral ornamentation, the smallest inscribed 'Christos Voskrese' on the reverse, one white egg painted with a scene of Christ speaking to a crowd from a rock, the reverse decorated with gilt palmettes contained within droplet-shaped reserves and with gilt stripes, contained within a silver egg painted with a floral and foliate geometric pattern over a light pink ground, three decorated with painted and gilded patterns, the largest of which impressed with an indistinct mark at the base, the body of the last painted gold and engraved with a crucifix over a sunburst on one side and a floral motif on the other side, with a gold ribbon
