Drafted with the 28th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, Parker joined a Spurs team intent on contending for championships and immediately made his mark. Parker was named to the All-Rookie First Team, and the following year helped the Spurs win their second-ever NBA Championship. Parker would go on to help lead the Spurs to three more championships, in 2005, 2007, and 2014, and was named NBA Finals MVP in 2007. Parker was also named an All-Star six times and earned All-NBA Third Team honors in the 2008-09 season as well as All-NBA Second Team honors three consecutive seasons between 2012-2014.

Parker finished his career with averages of 15.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game, and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2023.
