the first, Jacques-Félix Vienot, Paris, 1798-1809, two-colour gold, diagonally engine-turned within chased rose borders, in original shagreen case, 11.9cm., 4 ¾ in high; the second, Nicolas Durier, Paris, 1771, in four-coloured gold with oval section, decorated with alternating chased husks and polished bands overlaid with oval chased trophies of of gardening, love and music,
