A Large Paris (probably Schoelcher factory) Porcelain Gold-Ground Topographical Vase, Circa 1820


of flattened oval section with a flared rim, affixed with matt and burnished two-tone stiff acanthus leaf handles, painted on either side with a large panel to showing a group of figures in front of a summer house or a group resting by a riverside, the lower section applied with stiff acanthus leaves, upon a spreading foot and rectangular based, with tooled gilt anthemion, flower rosettes and trophies, incised No 11
