4to (10 x 7 1/2 in.; 253 x 194 mm). Half-title, engraved title vignette by C. Grignion after R. Bentley; closed tear to inner margin of half title and title, repair to upper corner of B1, marginal dampstaining, minor offsetting, marginal annotation in contemporary hand. Later full blue morocco, spine with raised bands in three compartments, second gilt lettered, inner dentelles gilt; some dampstaining to front pastedown. Custom slipcase. 

First edition, and the first book printed at Horace Walpole's Strawberry-Hill Press
