A two-time NBA champion and the 2014 MVP, Kevin Durant has long been considered one of the top basketball players in the world. The Washington, D.C. native and University of Texas standout has enjoyed successful stints with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, and Brooklyn Nets across 15 NBA seasons.
Nicknamed ‘The Slim Reaper’, Durant is often considered one of the best pure scorers in the NBA thanks to his silky smooth jumper and uncanny ability to attack the rim. He has led the league in scoring on four occasions including a career-high 32 points per game during his MVP season.
A 12-time All-Star, Durant wore these Nike Zoom KD11 sneakers during the 2019 NBA All-Star Game in addition to 9 other games in his third and final season with the Golden State Warriors in 2018-19.
In the 2019 All-Star Game, Durant scored 31 points and added 7 rebounds as he helped Team LeBron secure a 178-164 victory over Team Giannis at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. For his efforts, Durant received All-Star Game MVP honors.
The sneakers have been photomatched by Resolution Photomatching to the following dates:
In the 10 total games Durant wore these sneakers, ‘The Slim Reaper’ recorded 215 points, 51 rebounds, 62 assists, 9 blocks, and 8 steals.
After delivering back-to-back NBA championships in 2017 and 2018, Durant led the Warriors back to the NBA Finals in 2019. However, he suffered a torn achilles in Game 5 and the Warriors subsequently fell to the Raptors in six games. Durant decided to sign with the Brooklyn Nets in the summer and begin a new chapter of his career.
