A member of a Turin family of eight silversmiths, Giuseppe Gattinara was awarded the title of Master in 1749. His hallmark consists of the letters GG surrounding the Eternal Father holding an orb. Membre d'une famille turinoise qui compte huit orfèvres, Giuseppe Gattinara fut reçu maître en 1749. Son poinçon est constitué des lettres GG entourant le Père Eternel tenant un orbe.
