In 2016, KAWS unveiled two highly sought-after additions to his iconic BFF collection: the Black and Blue Plush variants. 

The Black BFF Plush made its debut at the "Where The End Starts" exhibit in Fort Worth, Texas, captivating audiences with its familiar playful design and limited availability. Following an initial hyped release, this plush became the subject of intense demand causing a frenzy upon its subsequent release on KAWSONE. With just 3000 sequentially numbered pieces produced, each housed in a custom box with a removable lid, the Black BFF Plush remains a coveted collector's item.

The Blue BFF Plush, even more exclusive than its black counterpart, was limited to just 1,000 figures. Designed to commemorate the installation of the monumental 8-meter tall BFF statue at the Central Embassy shopping mall in Thailand, this plush was an instant sensation. Available exclusively at the Siwilai Store Bangkok and online at Ding Dong Takuhaibin, the Blue BFF Plush sold out immediately.

With their limited production runs, playful nature and the essence of KAWS’ artistic vision, these toys have become highly coveted treasures for enthusiasts and collectors. The Black BFF Plush is numbered 2786 of 3000 whilst the Blue BFF Plush is serialised 716 of 1000 units.
