In 2006, Nike released a pack of SB Dunks called ‘Three Bears’. This pair was the third sneaker in the series known as ‘Papa Bear’. The high-top silhouette features bear-inspired fur on the collar, mid panels and toe box, with contrasting blue suede overlays. Orange detailing can be found on the shoelaces, leather Swoosh and tongue tags. The pair is complete with a white midsole and yellow outsole to match. The insole features a MediCom Be@rbrick graphic that was released alongside the ‘Three Bears’.

The Nike SB Dunk made its formal debut in 2002 when Nike officially reappropriated the famed Dunk basketball sneaker originally designed in the 1980s with upgrades suited for the skateboarding community. The man behind it, former Nike executive Sandy Bodecker, is credited with building one of Nike’s most beloved subdivisions in the early 2000s with the Nike SB line.
