When he returned to his studio in Dresden, Dahl used his imagination and the sketches he had made in the open air to create landscapes that were both realistic and lyrical. This combination of personal experience and reflection has produced a feeling of serenity in this composition. The soft, harmonious colours and the meticulous detail of the natural elements create a peaceful, bewitching atmosphere. Dahl’s painted landscapes reflect his deep love of nature and his talent for capturing the ephemeral beauty of light and shadow in mountainous landscapes.

De retour dans son atelier à Dresde, Dahl a utilisé son imagination et les croquis qu'il avait réalisés en extérieur pour créer des paysages à la fois réalistes et poétiques. Cette combinaison d'expérience personnelle et de réflexion fait ressortir un sentiment de sérénité dans cette composition. Les couleurs douces et harmonieuses et les détails minutieux des éléments naturels créent une atmosphère paisible et envoûtante. Les paysages peints par Dahl reflètent son amour profond pour la nature et sa capacité à capturer la beauté éphémère de la lumière et des ombres dans des paysages montagneux.
