The Rolex "Date" family watches are a smaller version of their cousins, the "Datejust" family. Date watches are enclosed in 34 mm cases, whereas Datejust models are in 36 mm cases. Furthermore, the Date models use 19 mm width straps while the larger Datejust models use 20 mm straps. The present example is a very crisp and in nice original condition. The gold throughout has a good looking patina and the watch is very attractive overall.
