Two woodblock prints

Showa period, 20th century


each a woodblock print, signed Koitsu, sealed Shin, titled in the right margin, publisher's mark to lower left margin Hanken shoyu Doi hanga-ten [copyright reserved, Doi print dealers], with carver’s mark Harada and printer’s mark Yokoi, post-war printing, and comprising:


- Miyajima in the Rain (Ame no Miyajima), dated Showa jurokunen shichigatsu saku (made in July 1941)

- Yushima Tenjin Shrine (Yushuma Tenjin), dated Showa junen ichigatsu saku (made in January 1935)


Both vertical oban: each approx. 42.5 x 28.4 cm., 16¾ x 11⅛ in.
