woodblock print, signed Hasui and with artist’s seal Kawase, titled to the left margin as above, signed and titled in Roman script in pencil in bottom margin Hasui Kawase and Snow in Shiba Park, publisher's circular seal to the lower right Watanabe (Watanabe Shozaburo), dated Showa rokunen ichigatsu saku (made in January 1931), post-war printing
Horizontal oban: 26.3 x 39.2 cm., 10⅜ x 15⅜ in.
A lone figure in black robes and with a green umbrella trudges through snow towards the large red entrance gate to Shiba Park, which is built around Zojoji Temple in Tokyo.
