St. Emilion, 1er Grand Cru Classé (B)
Merlot 74%, Cabernet Franc 26%. In 2021, this has the whole spice box on the nose, with the real class that is inherent, and now so evident, in Canon. On the palate, it is hugely juicy, hugely classic and a Canon for decades, with its lush layers and glossy glycerol. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
