Château Figeac 2005
St. Emilion, 1er Grand Cru Classé (B)
In 2023, a big, blueberry nose, with a 'bite' to it. On the palate, plush and plummy after two hours in the decanter, with both 2005 fresh acidity and the inherent longevity of the vintage in the background. Pure blackcurrant fruit on the finish. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
