The Rolex Explorer II reference 216570 was launched in 2011 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the model, distinguished by its enlarged 42 mm case and the return of the oversized orange 24-hour hand, recalling the original Explorer II ref. 1655. Designed for adventurers and professionals working in extreme conditions, the model features a highly legible black dial, robust Oyster case, and the in-house automatic calibre 3187.
