8vo, FIRST EDITION (hardback issue) ('10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1' on publisher's imprint page), original laminated pictorial boards, slight browning and minimal soiling throughout,  previous ownership library circulation label and barcode pasted down to front free endpaper (with 'Discarded' stamp), additional library label pasted down to publication page, significant wear with loss to corners, edges and spine, particularly top right hand corner of lower board, ink stamp to top edge, loss of lamination, joints splitting, skewed 

The publishers have confirmed there were only 500 copies of the hardback issue.
