Breccia Quintillina, is a rare stone, also known as Breccia della villa Adriana (Corsi), which takes its name from Quintiliolo near Tivoli where a few unworked blocs of it were found, although it is probable that it originates from Levanto, in Liguria. It was highly prized from the late 16th century due to its unusual yellow and red iridescent tones and therefore used in small quantities in valuable Roman pietre dure pieces.
