FIRST EDITION, folio (294 x 190mm.), title printed in red and black within woodcut border, additional engraved double-page title, 44 engraved plates, WITH THE RARE PRINTED LEAF SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR (see footnote), later calf-backed boards, slightly worn


With the scarce printed leaf bound at the end, containing a printed key for the symbols for the materials of gunpowder, signed by the author, previously folded and docketed on the verso with the remains of his seal.
