An early edition of a popular English legal treatise
First published in 1528, Perkin's Profitable Booke was a popular work during the sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries, held in high regard by Coke and others. Devoted mostly to the land law, it is divided into the following sections: grants, deeds, feoffments, exchanges, dower, curtesy, wills, devises, surrenders, reservations, and conditions.
