NIKE, NIKE MESH SHOOTING SHIRT
MESH
This ‘All-Star Edition’ shooting shirt was issued to Stephen Curry on February 16, 2025, for the All-Star Game warmups.
This is Steph Curry's 11th All-Star game appearance as he continues to be the best shooter in the world for over a decade.
Selected by the Golden State Warriors as the 7th overall pick of the 2009 NBA Draft, Stephen Curry quickly emerged as an elite scoring and playmaking threat as a point guard. He averaged 17.5 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.5 rebounds and finished second in the Rookie of the Year award voting. Although Curry’s skill set and potential shined bright, the Warriors failed to make the playoffs in his first three seasons, however, this all changed after the Warriors drafted shooting guard Klay Thompson in 2011. Soon thereafter, Curry and Thompson emerged as the most dangerous shooting backcourt in the game, and were dubbed the ‘Splash Brothers.'
After two consecutive playoff appearances in 2012-13 and 2013-14, Curry and the Warriors finally broke through in the 2014-15 NBA Playoffs. The Warriors’ balanced offensive attack of Curry, Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andre Iguodala enabled them to defeat LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers for the franchise’s first championship since the 1974-75 season. As a result of his stellar performance on the court, Curry was also voted league MVP.
But as it turned out, the ‘Baby-Faced Assassin’ was just getting started.
Curry helped the Warriors win three more championships in 2017, 2018, and 2022. He is an 11-time NBA All-Star, a 10-time All-NBA Team member, a 2-time NBA MVP, the 2022 NBA Finals MVP, and the NBA scoring champion in 2016 and 2021. Curry was also named to the 75th Anniversary Team, one of only eleven active players to be selected for the team. The NBA 75th Anniversary Team was selected by a blue-ribbon panel of players, coaches, general managers, and sportswriters who voted on the 75 Greatest Players in NBA History.
In 2021, Curry passed Ray Allen to become the all-time leader in three-pointers in NBA history. He is widely considered one of the greatest shooters and one of the best players of all time.
Curry played a major role in Team USA’s run to a gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics. He hit huge shots down the stretch in the Gold Medal game against France, quelling any French hopes of a comeback victory on home soil. This was Curry’s first, and likely only, Olympic gold medal with Team USA.
At the time of cataloging, Curry has career averages of 24.7 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game, and 6.4 assists per game.
