I have had many perfectly delicious bottles of this, with textbook Lafite beauty and harmony, delicacy of flavour and the true trademark long finish. It is getting older, of course, and my last bottle in 2009 was all sweetness and cinnamon, but beginning to dry up. Provenance:

The cellar of a gentleman collector, featuring four decades of Petrus, Lafite and Mouton Rothschild, alongside many other Bordeaux wonders. The collection also showcases the love of the owner for Italy's finests, including a comprehensive selection of Sassicaia, Masseto, Ornellaia and Tignanello. All the wines have been acquired from UK and European reputable wine merchants and recently removed for a temperature-controlled private cellar.
