The reference 116500LN Daytona was introduced by Rolex in 2016 to replace the long standing reference 116520 which was the first in-house chronograph reference Rolex had made.
With a stronger vintage appeal that collectors had longed for, the upgraded new black Cerachrom bezel which provides a strong contrast to the white dial with black rings around the subsidiary dials, quickly earned its nickname amongst collectors as the new 'Panda' Daytona.
