A member of the famed 2003 NBA Draft class alongside LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh, Carmelo Anthony earned a reputation as one of the NBA’s all-time greatest scorers during his 20-year career. 

Ranked 10th on the NBA’s All-Time Scoring leaderboard with 28,289 points, Anthony won the 2013 NBA Scoring Title as a member of the New York Knicks. Melo put on numerous electric performances at Madison Square Garden – The Basketball ‘Mecca’ – during his stint as the face of the Knicks from 2011-2017. 

The Air Force 1, arguably Nike’s most iconic sneaker, is in many regards, the first of its kind. Previously realized in running shoes, the introduction of Nike’s ‘Air’ technology in the midsole was a revolutionary concept for basketball sneakers. Tasked with bringing the concept to life, designer Bruce Kilgore and an aerospace engineer brought the project to fruition with a hiking boot-inspired, ankle-strapped, high top. Kilgore’s first basketball sneaker, the Air Force 1 was brought to market in 1982. 

Produced in 2004, this Carmelo Anthony Nike Air Force 1 features a sleek and simple design. Dressed in a predominantly white leather upper, the pair features Anthony’s “Melo” logo embroidered on the lateral heels. Further premium components include the leather sock lining and leather insoles.
