of lobed tall tapering form with everted foot and tall neck, silver and gilt mounts, decorated in coloured cloisonné enamels on a deep blue enamel ground and worked in gold and silver wire, depicting sparrows among bamboo with shading (bokashi) to the leaves, the foot and neck with a band of lappets, chrysanthemums and scrolling foliage
