Description
FROZEN 2
A set of two re-created production maquettes comprised of resin, paint, and metal, fabricated in 2019.
“Elsa” maquette measuring 12.5 in tall and 3.5 in wide, on round base with a diameter of 7.25 in. Signed to base by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck in black Sharpie ink.
“Anna” maquette measuring 12 in tall and 4in wide, on round base with a diameter of 7.25 in. Signed to base by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck in black Sharpie ink.
The present lot—maquettes of the central characters “Elsa” and “Anna” from Disney's 2019 animated feature, Frozen 2—were recreated by the Walt Disney Animation Research Library using the same designs as maquettes created for the feature's production.
These maquettes depict Elsa and Anna in their travelling clothes as featured in Frozen 2, and both maquettes are signed by co-directors and writers of the film, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck.
